All foreigners who wish to enter Colombia must certify at Migración Colombia (the Colombian migration department) the reason for their visit. Students, teachers and researchers who wish to visit Universidad Pedagógica Nacional can find out whether they need a visa or whether they are eligible for entrance only with their valid passport. (This information can be found in Resolución 439 del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de la República de Colombia (01/02/2016).

UPN does not have student residences. Therefore, in the rubric “Accommodation and recommendations” you will find a list of accommodation facilities recommended by other exchange students. You have to negotiate the terms and conditions of accommodation.
We do not recommend to sign contracts with a duration of more than one month nor to transfer money from your country of origin.
If you come to study courses in a programme of the Faculty of Physical Education (B.A. in Physical Education, B.A. in Sports, B.A. in Recreation and Tourism), you are going to study at Valmaría, located in Calle 183 Carrera 54 D (in the north of Bogotá).
If you come to study courses of the B.A in Music, you are going to study at Nogal, located in Calle 78 # 9-92, which is quite close to the main UPN site in Calle 72.
If you come to study courses of the B.A. in Arts, you are going to study in Parque Nacional, located along Carrera 7.
All other programmes are taught at the main UPN site, located in Calle 72 n° 11-86.

The Agreement 008 of January 31, 2019, issued by the Academic Council, established the dates of the academic calendar for 2019 as follows:
